We have provided Laser/IPL Skin Rejuvenation Therapy in our sister clinic Eternal Beauty for 5 years and are very much looking forward to offering the same level of expertise and efficacy in our Pearlys Clinic Primrose Hill.

We are awaiting our Health Care Commission registration for this site and will be up and running shortly.

Laser intense pulsed light rejuvenation is so effective because it works in 3 main anti-ageing ways:

1. Lifting Sundamage. Light energy is selectively absorbed by the darker pigment in sun damaged skin to lift off the ‘sun spots’ (sometimes called ‘age spots’)usually with 3-6 treatments.
2. Reducing reddening. Small broken veins that give the complexion a ruddy look are cauterised and removed leaving the face more evenly toned and brightened.
3. Reducing fine lines. The laser intense pulsed light ‘tricks’ the skin into ‘thinking’ that it is being damaged, the skin responds by producing collagen and elastin to ‘heal’ the area. The result is fine lines are plumped and elasticity and firmness of the skin is improved giving a more youthful, rejuvenated look.
Laser rejuvenation facials work particularly well in conjunction with injectable anti-wrinkle treatments and/ or in-clinic peels and an effective home care regime.

The Procedure

After a full consultation and patch test to insure that this treatment is right for you, the following steps will be carried out by your highly trained laser clinician.

Step One
The area to be treated (face, hands and/or decollate/chest) is cleansed and gently exfoliated using the most effective cosmeceutical products.

Step Two
Protective eye patches or goggles are worn by the client and a thin layer of cool protective gel is applied to the whole treatment area.

Step Three
The IPL applicator head is placed on to the area to be treated and a bright light is emitted. You will feel a warm sensation and a ‘pinging’ like an elastic bank flick. The slight discomfort instantly subsides and a cool pack is placed back onto the treatment area. Step Three is repeated over the entire treatment area. During the whole treatment your laser clinician is looking for any changes in the skin and will check with you often to ensure that you are comfortable.

Step Four
The gel is removed and a cooling, healing collagen mask applied to the whole treatment area for 15 minutes. During this time you may choose to have an additional area treated (ie your hands).

Your laser clinician will discuss a full treatment plan with you at your consultation, but in general a course of 3-6 laser rejuvenation treatments are recommended at 1-3 week intervals.
